I talked about continuous integration and deployment of the working tool for a sales force in 22 different countries. A talk about how we outgrew detailed specifications and rigid structures, and replaced them with transparency and a better common understanding of what we are trying to do accomplish, and the tools we are using. Most importantly, what we have learned a lot about reducing friction

Pain reliever

Our code is our pain. No matter how great it is, no matter how well written it is, we feel ashamed of what we've done after one year passes by. In several years our shame transforms into the pain for the priceless time of our life we've spent senselessly. We'll discuss the pain relievers, which are provided to us by Swift and my sick imagination.

What Mom Never Told You About Multi-threading

When we were little kids, surely there were many taboo topics our moms never mentioned. There is actually a big chance one of those is multi-threading. That is why in this talk we are going to walk together through the different alternatives we have nowadays in order to handle, manage and master multi-threading on mobile platforms. Why is the transition from Apache Cordova to React Native inevitable?

Over the past 5 years, Apache Cordova has been a reliable tool for creating cross-platform business applications. It allows to reduce development costs and development time, and removes the necessity for separate specialists for iOS and Android platforms in the staff. This approach had a number of weaknesses, the list of which grew with the number of projects implemented. With the advent of React Native technology, a cross-platform alternative to Apache Cordova appeared. Our team tested React Native for six months. Thereafter, we moved all subsequent projects to React Native. This report will discuss the reasons for this decision and the difficulties of working with each of the technologies

Architecturally correct approach to handling errors is often an issue. What are the ways to shorten the code, make it easily tested and comprehended? There are lots of approaches that we have used to and use every day, however, the progress never stops and we all continue creating new solutions.
